ok, so this tennis season has completely and utterly sucked in the first ~week and a half. Ever single day I have had to accept a challenge match (now @ 5, would be higher if we didn't have scrimmages). As many of the people who I've talked to on steam know: I'm on vacation with the family in the Bay Area of California (area around San Francisco, but outside the city). I ended up flying out on Christmas day at 7am EST. I left my house around 5am, waking up at 4am. I was originally going to just stay awake the entire night, but then got bored so decided to sleep the remaining 3 hours I had in the night. Today in my robotics club meeting, we had a guest speaker come. He was a professor at the University of Denver and now works in some high up position in the National Science Foundation. Well I spent from 2:30 to ~4:30 listening to him talk about robots and a bunch of projects, locomotion, etc in relation to robotics. He talked a lot about the different diciplines that go in to robotics and then later about various problems that each robot faced.

It's Monday Night Combat!

Basically, this game is really fun. It's an xbox live arcade game (only availiable on xbox atm). There are 6 or so classes, each with their own unique weapons and skills which generally govern their role. The game seems to take a heavy influence from both tf2 as well as Dota. I have yet to play online, but from what i've seen so far, I think i will really enjoy it.
